West Norfolk MIND has a thriving business in the heart of Downham Market, selling a variety of good quality bric-a-brac, clothes, books, toys and furniture, etcetera. It is open Monday to Saturday and supported by our local team of volunteers who staff this busy charity shop. Could you help? Would you like to be part of our friendly team? You could be sorting the donations, steaming the clothes, displaying the items in the shop, serving our customers ... all for a good cause.
Cousins Court sells good condition items and always needs quality stock for its shelves. Donations are accepted at the shop (on the Car Park, opposite the Town Council Offices in Paradise Road) during opening hours.
We also have a fully-equipped workshop on site, and our own technical instructor who specialises in various woodwork projects and also teaches guitar! We have a furniture showroom and collect and deliver quality, budget priced furniture in the Downham area.
The premises also has office space for hire, with a kitchen area, disabled access and lift, and free car parking!
