Downham Market

Downham Market is a typical small friendly Norfolk country market town, situated approximately 90 miles north east of London in a pleasant rural area of East Anglia bordering the Fens.

Downham Market is on the main A10 trunk road which runs due north from Cambridge passing through the cathedral city of Ely, some 15 miles to the south of Downham Market, before reaching King's Lynn, approximately 11 miles to the north of the Town, and nearby Sandringham, the Queen's Royal Estate a further 8 miles north.

The main London Stansted International airport is approximately 50 miles to the south, approx 1 hour journey time using good road links using  the M11 motorway and A11 or A10 trunk roads

Downham Market Railway Station is on the main line electrified railway line from 

London King's Cross  to King's Lynn via Cambridge &  Ely -  journey time approx 1hr 25 mins

The regional airport at Cambridge is only 30 miles to the south, whilst Norwich International Airport is 40 miles to the east.
